so me and sis went to NTUC to buy the ingredients needed before heading down to her house ..
when we reached we were all ready to start ..
but once she open the cupboard .
OMG!! she realized that the Japanese rice is finished ..
so we went down to buy ..
on the way i realized that i forget to buy the second most important ingredient ..
which is seaweed!!!
faint faint ..
so went to the shop nearby but none of them sell seaweed for wrapping the sushi .
cannot blame too all were just small provision shop ..
there were no NTUC, Shop & Save or Cold Storage ..
no choice but we just went back with the packet of rice .
we prepared all the needed ingredients and were all waiting for the rice to cool down a little..
so after the rice is slightly cooled we started to wrap our v.own sushi ..
lols!! is like omg is doesnt even look like one ..
or maye i should not say wrap but kinda like play with the rice . opps =x
shh..dont say out my big secret .. (:
okies ..after awhile we came serious ..
really try v.best to wrap the ingredients with the rice only hopping that it is strong enough to hold it ..
and oh yes!! it did !
although its only for a few minutes ..
but at least can take photo for LLA ..
luckily ..and right after the making for sushi ..
me and sis rush down to tampines to meet elder sis ..
then we all headed to GIANT !
to buy the ingredients for later on BBQ !
after shopping for hours ..
meet meilan jiejie then we drove down to upper or lower seletar (im not sure)
set up our super small pit and start to BBQ..
after an hour plus i guess..
the food were almost finishing cause we did not buy a lot too ..
but luckily ..
cause it start to rain a little ..
so sis say just pour all the uncooked food on the pit and cook and we'll eat in the car !
and we did cook all the food ..
and it tasted great .
like our sliced beef with mushroom !
YUMMY!!!
then we pack up and leave the pit there ..
and went back to the car ..
after awhile the rain stop and bro-in-law went down to throw away the charcoal and keep the pit in the boot ..
and then went home ..
overall i guess that this is the only first time that i feel BBQ is not messy, but clear and fast ..
cause maybe its because all pre-marinated ..
